Topper Placement
If you are having issues with your toppers, it more than likely has to do with how you are placing them on your drink. The key is to keep the top part that has your edible print from touching liquid. If the drink gets on it, the edible ink will run. Here is a quick video showing you how to best place the edible topper on to your drink.

Good placement should fix:
- Edible ink running into drink.
- Edible topper sinking.
- Part of edible topper sinking.
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Remove full topper sheet from plastic bag one by one, sheets may stick together, do not worry, slowly unstick them. Do not keep sheets exposed for long periods of time, if using only one sheet of toppers at a time, make sure to reseal the remaining toppers until you are ready to use them.
-
Have drink ready (Works great on any drink, except water, straight liquor or hot drinks. The thicker and more viscosity the drink has, the longer your image will last).
-
Slowly peel off one topper at a time from the acetate backing. Some toppers may be harder to peel off than others. Carefully and slowly peel those off.
-
Place topper on top of drink as level as possible, grabbing it by two edges with your index finger and thumb as pictured below. If the top part of the topper gets wet, the ink may start to bleed. Gently lower the topper onto your drink. If laying on top of ice, the topper will take the shape of the ice.
-
Once your topper is in your drink, it will slowly start to expand and lose its shape.Topper will not melt completely into your drink, so you can eat it, stir it into the bottom of your drink or toss it out. It is 100% edible.
-
If planning for an event, place drink toppers on drink right before serving to ensure maximum image quality. (The longer the topper sits on the drink, the blurrier and warped the image becomes.)
